It was a beautiful, sunny day for the dark,wavy-haired girl. Looking confident in her simple tee and jeans, she carried her tomboyish attitude and showed it to the world outside her window. Her red Converse sneakered-feet were thumping lightly on the concrete road as she strolled along. There was an inner glow showing in her expression as she smiled.
Yes, the girl was very happy, because she could breathe the open air and feel the sunshine on her tanned face. There were lots she could do to fill the day. She would work her usual job behind the counter of the restaurant. Then, she'd meet her friends after work and just hang out, probably in a mall or a cafe or some place else as fun. She could joke around with her friends --- male and female --- and just giggle freely. She could just be herself, because that was all she ever wanted. She always had a free-spirited soul and a will to be fully independent, standing on her own two feet and not allowing anybody to push her down. She hated being told what to do and you wouldn't expect her to be that bossy to other people either.
The girl was hopefully longing for sensible equality and tolerance for differences between human beings. It was such a childlike dream, knowing the real world around her.
There were lots of other things she loved. Popular readings, rock bands, thriller flicks than can make her think and not just believe in mere mysticism...you name it.:) Just like other normal girls around the world, this girl also wondered what it would feel like to set her chocolate brown eyes on a prince charming of her dreams, smile at him, feel his hand holding hers, and...allow his strong, gentle arms to show her one of the safest places in the world. Everything...
But then, one day she woke up from her once peaceful sleep --- only to find it was all just a dream. A beautiful, sad illusion.:( A reflection from her old freedom in the past.
The girl found all doors and windows locked and tightly shut, so nobody in the house could see the outside world. Her mother and sister were crying, while she could hear her father and brother outside. They both said glumly, "Sorry, we have no choice but to do this. There are too many of them. They're much too powerful. This is just for your own safety."
"NOOO!!!" the girl screamed in fury and terror. She started smashing the window glass with a chair and then kicking the door uselessly. "GET ME OUT OF HERE!!! I'M NOT AN ANIMAL!!! WOMEN ARE NOT YOUR PROPERTIES!!! LET ME OUT!!!"
Meanwhile, the TV in the living room was broadcasting the --- sadly --- legalization of RUU APP (The New Draft of Bills for "Antipornography"). The blind, narrow-minded fanatics were celebrating their arrogance.

May this never have to be a fearful prophecy for this country...
