The severest agony cuts deeply in absolute silence,
covered in solitude that strongly stands
Yet many of us are too busy playing the victims,
pointing fingers at anyone, anything to blame
when in fact, real strength should start from within
What's with this cynicism?
Nothing
Probably just mere exhaustion,
like it's always been
They're so lucky
They have no idea
They're so used to being treated like 'the one and only'
that they can't stand being lonely
They're so consumed by their own self-pity,
all too excessively
Oh, don't they always want the sympathy and attention,
while perhaps you're forced to hide in the shadows,
standing in the dark corner all alone?
Too bad, they refuse to share the spotlight,
while others are expected to quietly step aside...
