So here she is again, back at the exile. However, this time...The Ex-Guardian of The Isolated Castle is no longer alone. The ghosts in her conscience keep following her, poking at her and mercilessly taunting her.

Eating her up from the inside, her walls of defenses slowly chipped away...bit by bit within.

For the first time in her entire life, she started questioning and challenging The Mighty Queens authority in The Isolated Castle. She had to. Shes got no other choice. Time is running out.

The lives of the little ones are in grave danger. Theres been a monster at The Isolated Castle, the monster whos given them part of his DNA. Out of senseless rage, the monster had choked one of the little ones. The poor, helpless Little Prince had cried and thrown up after the monster had let him go. Thank God The Little Prince didnt die asphyxiated. It couldve been worse.

The Little Prince had come up to The Mighty Queen to tell. Unfortunately, The First Princess who happened to be there too could only tell the boy not to anger the monster ever again.

The Ex-Guardian of The Isolated Castle knew it right there and then. The First Princess too has been the victim of The Monsters Spiteful, Toxic Tongue. It has already worsened that The First Princess has finally lost her wit and become helplessly dependent, numb, and paralyzed by hurt, terror, and fear. Shes simply given up on everything, a typical symptom of a battered women syndrome.

Unfortunately, once again, the politics at The Isolated Castle is no help for the children. The people there choose to do nothing, hiding behind the same, empty line: Its none of our business. Its their children; they should be responsible for their well-being, not us. The same, lame excuse despite the worrying truth.

Of course, who wants a confrontation? Nobody does. The Ex-Guardian of The Isolated Castle has always wanted to keep to herself, nothing more.

However, its a shame that they choose to turn a blind eye. They pretend they dont listen or hear anything. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil. Just like that. How can they all live with that, pretending that the monster there isnt dangerous? What makes them think that time will tell and believe that he will change?

Minding your own business only works for you. It doesnt save lives. How will you look at yourself in the mirror one day, knowing that you couldve done so much more than just keeping quiet and pretending nothings going wrong? Why choose to keep up with the hypocritical public appearance instead of keeping a child or two safe? For a family honour?

Seriously, what family honour? Can you still call it that if a childs life may get spared?

You are The Mighty Queen. You own this castle. You know what to do.

That assurance still didnt work. The Mighty Queen still believes that its best to stay out of it, because its none of her business even when it took place in her castle. Wheres her sense of authority? What has happened to it? All she could do was put the blame on The First Princess, even when she is helpless...and gutless. Even when The Mighty Queen had also been the one to have insisted on their wedding ages ago. Its either she forgot or just doesnt want to be held responsible for this disaster.

Or perhaps, both.

I just want all of us to get on with each other in peace, The Mighty Queen had stated helplessly. I pray that we always will.

Not good enough, The Ex-Guardian of The Isolated Castle thought furiously as she gritted her teeth. She was enraged that shed finally exploded:

Fine, enjoy your picture-perfect illusion because I am done pretending!

And what did The Mighty Queen reply? I dont care what you think about me.

Very well, then. So be it. Theyve all become total strangers to her now basking in complete denial. Theyre still under his spell. Things havent changed. Theyve denied her, so theyre lost to her.

Bloodline doesnt always count. Shes just an ex-guardian, not a real princess. Her opinions and point of view dont matter. Shes all alone like shes always been, trying to figure a way out by herself to save the children...
