Drops of rain on your head;
they don't always feel so bad.
Open your mouth - and they'll quench your thirst
when you're on the driest desert on earth.
Drops of rain on your face;
sometimes they make you (want to) slow your pace.
You stand still as you gaze above,
all bathed in God's love.
Drops of rain on you;
they don't have to make you feel blue.
Drops of rain can always cover your tears,
even when they don't always chase away your fears...
