A black hole was visible.
Darkness swallowed me whole.
I've longed to succumb
deep into nothingness,
at least for a moment.
Yet my soul was restless
a suffocated butterfly
against the glass window.
A lazy cat
blinded by the sunlight.
Last night, a black hole was visible.
Darkness swallowed me whole.
It was supposed to help me sleep,
but not with one eye open.
